JAMESTOWN — Watauga overcame multiple obstacles during Tuesday night’s baseball playoff opener to claim a 6-4 victory in eight innings over Ragsdale at Ronnie Smith Baseball Stadium.

Those obstacles led to multiple opportunities for several Pioneers to step up and deliver the program’s first North Carolina High School Athletic Association playoff win since 2015.
