HIGHTSTOWN — With the game tied after four innings, the Hightstown High varsity baseball team scored single runs in the fifth and sixth to get past Hopewell Valley, 5-3, Monday behind solid pitching from Noah Francisco and Andrew Emslie.
Dylan Stables and Michael Guarino had two hits with a run batted in for the Rams. Daniel Krier also had two hits.
Jaykob Shin went 3-for-3 with a run and two runs batted in for the Bulldogs, who tied the game twice at 2-2 in the third, then 3-3 in the fourth.
