College Baseball:

Oregon defeated Georgetown yesterday 12 - 1 in 7 innings. The Ducks are 16th in D1 Baseball, 17th in the Writers Poll, 18th in the Coaches and number 25 in Baseball America.

Oregon State moved up to number 6 in the rankings for the Writers, Coaches, and D1 baseball dot com polls. Perfect Game has them 7th and  Baseball America ranks them 9th. The Beavers swept Cal State Fullerton over the weekend and now play UCLA today at 6.

 

Softball: 

Oregon State shutout Montana yesterday. The Beavers face Oregon tomorrow. The Ducks are ranked in the top 10 in the country and are tied for first place in the Big 10.

MLB:

The Giants pounded out 10 runs on 12 hits yesterday on the way to a series opening win in Philadelphia. Game 2 of the series is today. First Pitch against the Phillies is at 3:45.

 

The Mariners are coming off their weekend sweep of the Rangers and visiting Cincinnati to start a series against the Reds. First pitch at 3:45.
