Per Fightful Select, Kelly Kelly has become the latest name to be signed to a WWE Legends contract.

In most instances, such deals mean WWE will produce new merchandise for that legend, there's the chance to appear in WWE video games, they'll likely pop up as a talking head in various WWE productions, and there often comes a Hall of Fame induction at some point in the future.

As for the WWE career of Kelly Kelly, it largely came to an end when she was just 25 years of age. The real-life Barbie Blank signed with the company in 2006 at the age of 19 and was initially assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling. Only one month after signing with WWE, the Florida native would debut on the relaunched ECW brand, while still training at OVW. By the summer of 2008, Kelly Kelly would move to Raw, and she'd eventually win her first slice of championship gold in 2011, defeating Beth Phoenix on a June episode of the Monday flagship to become the WWE Divas Champion. That run would last for 104 days before the Glamazon won the Divas Title back at the Hell in a Cell PPV later that year.

Kelly Kelly would be released by WWE in September 2012, with the talent wanting time off to deal with a neck injury and also to explore more modeling work. At that time, Kelly's final televised match for the promotion was an August '12 win over Eve Torres, while her final non-televised bout was a house show win over Natalya later that same month.

Of course, Kelly Kelly has resurfaced in WWE a few times over the years, initially on Network programming or Raw anniversaries, even briefly winning the 24/7 Title at one point. Kelly has also laced up her boots again for the company, competing in the 2018, 2020, and 2022 women's Royal Rumbles, plus being a part of a 20-woman Battle Royal at WWE Evolution in 2018.

With rumblings of an Evolution II likely for later this year - with July a rumoured date - it remains to be seen whether Kelly Kelly will have any involvement should that event indeed come to pass. Considering she was a part of the first Evolution, one would have to think this Legends deal means an Evolution II appearance could be extremely likely.
