In a tragic turn of events, the accused in the Salman Khan firing case has passed away after attempting suicide while in police custody.

So before, we get deeper into the story, let’s go back in tiem when On the morning of April 14, two individuals arrived on a motorcycle and fired four gunshots outside the Galaxy Apartment though they were ordered to fire 10 rounds of bullets, the residence of Salman Khan.

After the incident, the attackers ran away fast. Security cameras showed that both of them were wearing caps and had backpacks with them.

Today One of the attackers named Anuj Thapan tragically died by suicide, hanging himself with a sheet in police custody. Anuj was supposed to have a peaceful night with his blanket, but tragically, it became the tool he used to end his life. When the police checked on him in the morning, they found Anuj unconscious in his room—a heartbreaking sight. They rushed him to GT Hospital for help, but despite their efforts, Anuj didn’t make it. His death left everyone wondering why it happened.

For those who don’t know, Anuj is accused of giving weapons to the shooters. Thapan was in a hospital nearby. Before this, the shooters, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, who fired outside the actor’s house in Bandra, were caught in Gujarat’s Bhuj. The Mumbai Police has used MCOCA sections against all those arrested. They’ve named Lawrence Bishnoi as the gang leader.

In 2022, Salman Khan’s security was increased to Y-Plus because gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar threatened him. He was allowed to carry his own gun, and he even got a new armored car for more safety.

After the incident, the Mumbai Crime Branch sent a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs, asking them to issue a lookout notice for gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol. Anmol Bishnoi admitted on his Facebook page a few hours after the incident that he was responsible for the shooting at Salman Khan’s house.
