Niger Delta will give Tinubu massive support in 2027, says MOSIEND
The foremost Movement for the Survival of Izon Ethnic Nationality in Niger Delta (MOSIEND) has declared the Niger Delta will massively support Tinubu in 2027 because of the impressive performance of the current board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) led by the commission’s Managing Director, Samuel Ogbuku.
Describing the current NDDC’s board performance as a launch pad for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, the vice-president of MOSIEND Worldwide, High Chief Thompson Fuoye, said the board’s all-inclusive administration had drawn the Niger Delta people to Tinubu.
Fuoye, in a statement in Port Harcourt at the weekend, said all stakeholders were happy with the leadership style of Ogbuku and that the board would only support Tinubu‘s reelection.
He said: “In view of the visionary leadership displayed by Dr. Sam Ogbuku, and the NDDC Board, the people of the Niger Delta will give their massive support to President Tinubu come 2027.”
Fouye in the statement applauded President Tinubu for appointing the board to pilot the affairs of the commission.

He said the board’s members’ appointment suggested to MOSIEND that Mr. President understood the challenges and setbacks that had bedevilled the development of the region
He expressed his conviction that with the coordinated and calculated steps of the present board, there would be massive improvement of lives in the Niger Delta within four years.
He said: “We call on all stakeholders to give massive support to the NDDC led by Dr. Sam Ogbuku. We warn naysayers and unrepentant detractors to desist from their campaign of calumny. Their unpatriotic actions are inimical to the people of the Niger Delta.
He thanked President Tinubu for the appointment of the board and urged him to hold this team dear to his heart and give them all the necessary support to put the Niger Delta on the fast lane of development.
He stated: “Our yearnings to get a better Niger Delta is coming to fruition through the visionary leadership of Dr. Sam Ogbuku, Managing Director of NDDC.”
