FARGO — Fargo Davies ramped up the offense in game one against Watertown but couldn't find anything similar in game two, settling for a split of a Saturday doubleheader.

The Eagles took game one 15-5 in five innings, thanks mostly to an 11-run third inning. Watertown had the Eagles' number in game two, winning 7-1.

In the first game, Davies' Caden Graf doubled and drove in five runs, Ethan Claus had a double among his two hits and he drove in two runs, and Colten Alme had two hits, including a triple, and drove in a run. Starter Jake Jaroszewski got the win, working four innings and allowing just one earned run on four hits.

In the second game, Watertown pitchers Jerod Cyrus and Andrew Czech shut down the Eagles, allowing just the one run on three hits and striking out 10. Claus' homer in the sixth accounted for the lone Eagles run.
