Worcester State 4, Framingham State 3; Worcester State 2, Framingham State 1: In the first game, Kevin Larkin was 2 for 4 with an RBI double and two runs, and Jake Breton and Mike Ferrara also added two hits each for the host Lancers (10-16. 2-4 MASCAC). Matt Irzyk improved to 3-0 in the nightcap, scattering seven hits and striking out six.

Fitchburg State 6, Bridgewater State 5: Fitchburg State 3, Bridgewater State 0: Richard Sharp hurled a three-hitter in the nightcap without allowing a walk to boost the host Falcons (8-12-2, 3-3-1 MASCAC) to a sweep over the Bears (4-15, 0-6). In the first game, Andrew Currie's single down the right field line in the eighth inning drove in Drew Mazzeo with the walk-off winning run.

Franklin Pierce 4, Assumption 0; Assumption 8, Franklin Pierce 7: Derek Adamson's single with two out in the eighth inning drove in Quinn Moynihan with the second game's winning run as the host Greyhounds (15-17-1, 9-6-1 Northeast-10) split with the Ravens (20-10-1, 10-4) and gave coach Mike Rocco his 100th career victory. Adamson finished the nightcap 4 for 5 with a double and another RBI.

Massasoit CC 4, Quinsigamond CC 2; Quinsigamond CC 3, Massasoit CC 0: Former Wachusett Regional star Jordan Weber threw his third straight one-hitter in the second game, striking out six as the visiting Wyverns (6-10) forged a split in Brockton. David Roach had two hits in each game.

Bucknell 6, Holy Cross 0; Bucknell 2, Holy Cross 1: Alex Volpi homered in the fourth inning to tie the second game for the host Crusaders (12-15, 6-6 Patriot), but the Bison (12-21, 9-7) scored off reliever Danny Barlok in the ninth to sweep the doubleheader.

Clark 2, Springfield 1; Springfield 3, Clark 1: Kyle Bonicki singled in Chris Radovic with two out in bottom of the ninth inning to win the first game for the host Cougars (17-9, 9-4 NEWMAC). Clark's Dan Shaw hurled seven shutout innings in the opener. Nick Jordan and Derek Lefebvre each had two hits in the nightcap.

Gordon 4, Nichols 3; Gordon 9, Nichols 8: Cam Cook was 2 for 4 with an RBI in the first game for the visiting Bison (7-20, 1-5 Commonwealth Coast) in a pair of one-run losses in Wenham. Kyle Bouchard went 2 for 5 in the second game with a three-run homer and four RBIs.

Coast Guard 7, WPI 2; Coast Guard 4, WPI 0: Ryan Tropeano had two hits in each game for the visiting Engineers (11-17, 3-11 NEWMAC) in losses to the Bears (8-15, 2-10).

Mitchell 3, Becker 2; Mitchell 12, Becker 0: Josiah Shepherd hit a two-run single in the first game, but the visiting Hawks (7-18, 4-7 NECC) stranded runners at second and third to end the game.

Softball

St. Joseph's (Maine) 13, Anna Maria 0; St. Joseph's (Maine) 8, Anna Maria 0: Sabrina Carreira was 2 for 3 in the second game for the host AmCats (2-24, 0-14 GNAC).

Bridgewater State 11, Fitchburg State 8; Bridgewater 9, Fitchburg State 0: McKenzie Lambert went 3 for 4 with three runs and three RBIs in the first game, and Michaela Keenan was 2 for 3 in the second for the host Falcons (9-13, 4-2 MASCAC)

Worcester State 3, Framingham State 1; Framingham State 7, Worcester State 6: Shrewsbury natives Ashley Lynch and Kaci Panarelli combined to go 4 for 7 in the Game 1 victory for the host Lancers (10-9, 4-2 MASCAC), but Worcester State's eight-game winning streak was snapped in the eight-inning nightcap.

Nichols 3, Univ. of New England 2; Univ. of New England 9, Nichols 2: Jessica Kuelling's eighth-inning single scored the decisive run for the visiting Bison (11-10-1, 4-5-1 Commonwealth Coast) in the first game of a doubleheader with the Nor'easters (13-13, 6-4).

Clark 4, Wheaton 3; Wheaton 8, Clark 7: Sami West delivered a single up the middle to score Christina Kopacz with the walk-off winner in the first game for the host Cougars (6-18, 2-12 NEWMAC). West was 3 for 4 with two RBIs in the nightcap.

WPI 11, Smith 1; WPI 11, Smith 1: In the first game, Caraline Wood was 3 for 3 with a third-inning grand slam and seven RBIs for the visiting Engineers (23-7, 13-1 NEWMAC), and it was Nina Murphy-Cook's turn to go 3 for 3 in the second game as WPI has won six straight.

Boston University 9, Holy Cross 4, Boston University 6, Holy Cross 3: Savannah Young was 2 for 3 and drove in four runs in the first game for the host Crusaders (8-24, 2-7 Patriot). HC's Gabby Muniz had a home run among her two hits in the nightcap.

St. Anselm 3, Assumption 0; St. Anselm 3, Assumption 2: Stephanie Menard and Caitlin Mirabell had the RBIs for the host Greyhounds (12-9, 7-4 Northeast-10) in the second game.

Becker 9, Southern Vermont 1; Becker 9, Southern Vermont 1: Samantha Belenchia was 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs, and scattered three hits and struck out five over six inning in the second game for the visiting Hawks (10-10). In the first game, Megan Klemanchuck went 4 for 5 with two doubles and drove in two runs, and Rebecca Carkhuff was 3 for 3 with a homer and three runs.

Men's lacrosse

Nichols 20, Becker 3: Mackenzie Martin had five goals and two assists, and Brendan Coates added three goals and three assists for the host Bison (10-4), who scored 12 unanswered goals in the second half. Matthew Guerin had two goals and three assists for the Hawks (1-11).

St. Rose 12, Assumption 11: Dan Farrell collected four goals and two assists for the host Greyhounds (7-3, 5-3 Northeast-10), but Matt Graham with 2:46 left in overtime to win it for the Golden Knights (5-7, 4-4).

Holy Cross 12, Colgate 10: Sean Mullaney scored three of his four goals over the final 3:39 to lift the visiting Crusaders (4-8, 2-5 Patriot) past the Raiders (6-6, 2-5). Mullaney and Kevin Kodzis each had four goals and an assist for HC, which rallied for the final five goals in the final four minutes.

Emmanuel 13, Anna Maria 4: Brady Seymour tallied twice for the visiting AmCats (4-9, 2-4 GNAC) in a loss to the Saints (2-10, 2-4).

Women's lacrosse

Wheelock 15, Becker 2: Cassandra Nelson and Nikolle Storey scored for the host Hawks (0-8, 0-2 NECC) in a loss to the Wildcats (4-3, 2-0).

Bridgewater State 20, Worcester State 8: Mackenzie Little had four goals, and Alexis Vecchiarelli added two for the visiting Lancers (6-6, 1-2 MASCAC) in a loss to the Bears (8-5, 2-1).

St. Anselm 12, Assumption 11: Kailyn Hart scored four goals and Caitlin Graves three for the visiting Greyhounds (7-5, 4-5 Northeast-10) in a close loss to the Hawks (8-5, 6-3).

Lehigh 15, Holy Cross 11: Keely Connors, Kerianne Moran, Maggie Moriarty, Anna Pusey and Julia Gasbarre each scored twice for the host Crusaders (5-9, 3-3 Patriot) in a loss to the Mountain Hawks (9-5, 4-2).

Nichols 16, Maine-Farmington 9: Kirsten Sullivan's five goals sparked the host Bison (4-7).
